Father's Day

This is my family's first Father's Day without our Dad and we are missing him very much. Not a day goes by that we don't think about him and today, I wish I could have gotten the day off work so I could spend it with him in spirit. I'm thinking of you Dad.

On a lighter note, I'm remembering his last full sentence to me in the hospital just hours before he passed, he said: "aww f#ck this sh*t!"

If you are a parent and you smoke, please stop for your kids sake. Watching your father fight lung cancer is to difficult to imagine.

Flowers part 2

Continuing the conversation.

Flowers

I feel like having a different kind of conversation today. So I will say it with flowers. These are from my garden. As I was tending them yesterday, I was thinking about diversity. Flowers are proof that our creator loves diversity and we humans need to learn to honor and respect it. Not just in nature, but with eachother as well.
