42 years ago, I watched the first moon landing. Today, I am sitting in my chair, in my garden, using my cell phone to write this message, so my friends and adult sons can read this. Science is a wonderful thing.

One of my coneflower plants has several mutated flower buds on it. I didn't think anything would come of them but it looks like it's gonna give blooming a shot.

What?

What is the deal with this cat? It's one of the neighborhood feral cats that often spends the hot part of the day in my garden. The past couple of days, it has been sitting on my porch staring at the door, or sitting nearby staring at me when I am outside.
